What To Do In Childers
The Sugar Bowl Caravan Park is situated in the historic town of Childers which is located 325km north of Brisbane, 60km north of Maryborough and 52km south-west of Bundaberg. The Bruce Highway goes through Childers and it is lined with Brazilian Leopard Trees. In 1902 the town was virtually wiped out by a fire which demolished nearly all the buildings on one side of the main street. Those that survived are now the interesting and historic buildings in the town.
